I graduated from Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy (HUMP) in 2016 with a medical degree. Since September 2016, I have been working as a lecturer in the Department of Parasitology-HUMP. My main task is to teach medical students and conduct research on infectious diseases. During this time, I participated in the joint master's program between HUMP and the University of Sassari, Italy, funded by the project "Improving Health Care in Selected Areas of Central Vietnam and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Hue", (AID11/004/00). In 2019, I completed my master's degree with a project on sexually transmitted diseases, focusing on Trichomonas vaginalis infection and its susceptibility to metronidazole.
From 1/1/2022 until now, I have successfully enrolled as PhD student in the Experimental Medicine program at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tübingen under the framework of PAN ASEAN Coalition for Epidemic and Outbreak Preparedness (PACE-UP) project funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Currently, I am working in the research group of Prof. Velavan and my dissertation will focus on the “zoonotic hepatitis E virus and its burden on human and public health”.
